No. Our GP provides the referral after your pre-scan call. You receive the report afterwards as a secure PDF, so you can give it to your NHS GP if you want it in your records.

The imaging centre contacts you once we send the referral, usually within a few working days. Scans are never on the same day as booking.

Prices start at £110 for an ECG and £425 for a single-area MRI. The price includes the GP call, the scan, the consultant radiologist's report and a GP results call. See the full price list.

In Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire and Cumbria we use imaging partners we work with directly. Elsewhere we refer to a national network, which costs us slightly more.

Yes. The finder shows the centres near you and which scans each offers. Some scans are only available at certain centres.

No. Our service is for adults aged 18 and over.

Not at present. Our scan service is for patients living in England.

You pay only the £25 booking fee, which covers the consultation. Anything else you have paid is refunded.

We are a self-pay service and do not bill insurers directly. Some policies reimburse self-funded scans, so check with your insurer before booking.

We send you the report as a password-protected PDF to pass on, which most people prefer. If a finding needs urgent NHS action we contact your practice directly, and we can send the report to them on request.

Tell us as soon as you can. The £25 booking fee is non-refundable once the GP call has taken place, and imaging centres may charge for late cancellations or missed appointments.

Yes. We share only what the imaging centre needs to carry out and report the scan. Your report is sent to you encrypted, and we contact your NHS practice only where a finding needs urgent action or you ask us to.
